Sheetmusic

Sheet music that is created for sale, rental, or loan, or is otherwise distributed to the public, must be submitted to the National Library in three copies. This also applies to songbooks.

If the sheet music is printed abroad or at the publisher’s own printing house, the publisher shall deposit all three copies.

Digitally published sheet music can be submitted via this form (login via Altinn). By following this link, you will also be able to deposit print source materials.

Sheet music must be deposited in the format in which they are distributed. This means that you are still required to deposit printed sheet music even if you also deposit the print source material.

The costs are covered by the one who deposits.
