\n This resource will be made available for download via Kielipankki – the Language Bank of Finland.<\/p>\n

The resource is a previously unpublished corpus of narratives told by children speaking Mano (a Mande language, Guinea) of various ages (4-15 y.o.) and of various sociolinguistic backgrounds (Mano-dominant, early bilingual with Kpelle, another Mano language, or late bilingual in Mano with Kpelle as the dominant language). It also includes narratives told by Mano-speaking adults.<\/p>\n

The corpus contains 5 children\u2019s retellings of the movie «Kirikou et la sorci\u00e8re» (Kirikou and the sorcerer), 15 retellings of a shortened version of the movie «Kirikou et la sorci\u00e8re», including 10 by children and 5 by adults, and 7 folktales, totalling in 27 texts by 21 speakers.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4m\u00e4 aineisto on aiemmin julkaisematon kerrontakorpus, joka on ker\u00e4tty eri-ik\u00e4isilt\u00e4 (4-15 v.) manonkielisilt\u00e4 lapsilta (mano kuuluu Guinean mandekieliin). Lasten sosiolingvistiset taustat vaihtelivat (joko mano hallitsevana kielen\u00e4, tai varhainen kaksikielisyys kpellen kielell\u00e4, tai my\u00f6h\u00e4inen kaksikielisyys manon kielell\u00e4 kpelle hallitsevana kielen\u00e4). Korpus sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 my\u00f6s manonkielisten aikuisten vastaavia kertomuksia.<\/p>\n

Korpukseen kuuluu elokuvan «Kirikou et la sorci\u00e8re» (Kirikou ja velho) sis\u00e4ll\u00f6n kerronta viidelt\u00e4 lapselta, saman elokuvan lyhennetyn version kerronta 10 lapselta ja 5 aikuiselta, sek\u00e4 7 kansansatua, yhteens\u00e4 27 teksti\u00e4 21 puhujalta. <\/p>\n
