T\u00c4RKE\u00c4\u00c4: Kielipankin LAT-alusta poistuu k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4 marraskuun 2020 aikana. T\u00e4m\u00e4 korpusversio poistuu k\u00e4yt\u00f6st\u00e4, mutta aineistosta on edelleen saatavilla vastaavan sis\u00e4lt\u00f6inen ladattava versio (ks. Relations). Lis\u00e4tietoja l\u00f6ytyy aineiston tietosivulta Kielipankissa (ks. https:\/\/www.kielipankki.fi\/aineistot\/helpuhe).<\/p>\n

P\u00e4\u00e4sy aineistoon edellytt\u00e4\u00e4 henkil\u00f6kohtaista k\u00e4ytt\u00f6oikeutta, jota haetaan Kielipankin kautta. Kielivaran k\u00e4ytt\u00f6tarkoitus tulee m\u00e4\u00e4ritell\u00e4 tutkimussuunnitelmassa. Helsingin puhekielen pitkitt\u00e4iskorpus koostuu eri-ik\u00e4isten syntyper\u00e4isten helsinkil\u00e4isten haastatteluista. Aineistoa on ker\u00e4tty kolmella vuosikymmenell\u00e4, vuosina 1972\u201374, 1991\u201392 sek\u00e4 2013. Aineisto koostuu noin tunnin mittaisista \u00e4\u00e4nitallennetuista yksil\u00f6haastatteluista. Niiss\u00e4 ei ole k\u00e4ytetty varsinaista kyselyohjelmaa, mutta niiss\u00e4 on pyritty k\u00e4sittelem\u00e4\u00e4n samoja aihepiirej\u00e4: haastateltavien koulunk\u00e4ynti\u00e4, ty\u00f6t\u00e4, harrastuksia ja ylip\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4n el\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4 Helsingiss\u00e4. Lis\u00e4ksi on kyselty k\u00e4sityksi\u00e4 Helsingiss\u00e4 puhuttavista kielist\u00e4 ja kielimuodoista.<\/p>\n

T\u00e4rke\u00e4\u00e4: kielivara sis\u00e4lt\u00e4\u00e4 henkil\u00f6rekisterilaissa tarkoitettua tietoa. K\u00e4ytt\u00e4j\u00e4n on pidett\u00e4v\u00e4 erityist\u00e4 huolta aineiston sis\u00e4lt\u00f6\u00f6n liittyvien henkil\u00f6iden yksityisyyden suojaamisesta.<\/p>\n

\n Until November 2020, this corpus is available via the LAT platform in Kielipankki – the Language Bank of Finland (see Access location).<\/p>\n

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The LAT service of the Language Bank of Finland will be discontinued in November 2020, after which this corpus version can no longer be used. However, a downloadable version of the same content will be maintained (see Relations). Further details about the most recent version are available on the info page of this corpus family (https:\/\/www.kielipankki.fi\/aineistot\/helpuhe). <\/p>\n

Access rights can be applied through https:\/\/lbr.csc.fi\/, access rights instructions: https:\/\/www.kielipankki.fi\/access. Personal permission is required in order to access the corpus. The purpose of the resource use must be outlined in a research plan. Access rights are limited due to personal data protection issues. Please see Documentation for the license text.<\/p>\n

The corpus contains interviews with people of different ages born in Helsinki. The data was collected in three decades: 1972-74, 1991-92 and 2013. The material consists of about one hour long audio recordings of individual interviews. Although the interviews don\u2019t contain exactly the same questions, they deal with the same topics: school, work and hobbies related issues of the interviewees, as well as their lives in general in Helsinki. In addition to this the interviews contain questions related to the interviewees\u2019 perception of the languages and language forms spoken in Helsinki.<\/p>\n

Work on the transcription, alignment and thematic coding of the corpus is planned to continue in the future.<\/p>\n

Important: due to the nature of the material, the resource should be handled with care in order to respect the privacy of the people concerned. If samples of the data are published, they must be anonymized according to best practices.<\/p>\n
