\n Classics of Finnish Literature, Kielipankki Version<\/resourceName>
\n Suomalaisen kirjallisuuden klassikoita -korpuksessa on asemansa vakiinnuttaneiden suomalaisten kaunokirjailijoiden teoksia 1880-luvulta 1940-luvulle. Mukana on erityyppist\u00e4 proosaa ja n\u00e4ytelmi\u00e4 sek\u00e4 lyriikkaa ja aforismeja. Alun perin suomeksi kirjoitettujen teosten lis\u00e4ksi korpukseen sis\u00e4ltyy joitain etenkin ruotsista tehtyj\u00e4 runok\u00e4\u00e4nn\u00f6ksi\u00e4. Tekstit eiv\u00e4t yleens\u00e4 pohjaudu teosten ensipainoksiin, vaan osin tuntuvasti my\u00f6hempiin, kieliasultaan useimmiten jonkin verran modernisoituihin valittujen tai koottujen teosten kaltaisiin editioihin. Kustakin teoksesta on kuitenkin mainittu ainoastaan sen alkuper\u00e4inen julkaisuvuosi.<\/p>\n

Korpuksen pohjana olevat tekstit saatiin noin vuodesta 1990 alkaen lahjoituksina s\u00e4hk\u00f6kirjoja tuolloin valmistaneelta yritykselt\u00e4. Varsinaisia metatietoja vailla ollut aineisto konvertoitiin osaksi Kotuksen silloisia s\u00e4hk\u00f6isi\u00e4 aineistoja. Vuonna 2006 korpus julkaistiin Kotimaisten kielten keskuksen aineistopalvelu Kainossa silt\u00e4 osin kuin tekij\u00e4noikeudet t\u00e4m\u00e4n mahdollistivat. Joitain my\u00f6hemmin vapautuneita teoksia on sittemmin liitetty korpukseen.<\/p>\n

Korpus on saatavilla Kielipankin Korp-alustalla, http:\/\/urn.fi\/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2016081601.<\/description>
\n This resource contains works of established Finnish authors published from 1880s to 1940s. The corpus includes prose fiction, plays, poetry and aphorisms. Some poems were written originally in Swedish and only the Finnish translations are provided. The texts are usually not based on the first editions of the corresponding works but to more recent editions that had been modernized to some extent into formats that are typical of collections of selected works. However, only the original year of publication is provided of each work.<\/p>\n

The corpus is based on texts that were donated approximately from the year 1990 onwards by a company that was publishing electronic books at that time. The content that did not originally include metadata was converted and included in the electronic materials archived at Kotus. In 2006, the corpus was published in the Kaino service of Kotus to the extent that was allowed by copyrights. Some works that became free of copyright were also included at a later stage. <\/p>\n
