\n The Sanat Version of the Online Lexicon of Veps Language<\/resourceName>
\n Veps\u00e4n kielen verkkosanasto on per\u00e4isin Lauri Kettusen (1885\u20131963) laajasta, k\u00e4sin kirjoitetusta sanakirjasta ja kentt\u00e4muistiinpanoista. Kettunen teki kaksi matkaa veps\u00e4l\u00e4isalueille, joista ensimm\u00e4inen osui Ven\u00e4j\u00e4n vallankumouksen aikaan 1917\u20131918 ja rajoittui etel\u00e4veps\u00e4l\u00e4iselle alueelle. Toisen matkansa Kettunen teki yhdess\u00e4 Lauri Postin ja Paavo Siron kanssa kes\u00e4ll\u00e4 1934, jolloin reitti kulki etel\u00e4veps\u00e4l\u00e4isist\u00e4 kylist\u00e4 keskiveps\u00e4l\u00e4isen alueen kautta \u00e4\u00e4nis- eli pohjoisveps\u00e4l\u00e4isiin kyliin.<\/p>\n

Kentt\u00e4muistiinpanoihin perustuva sanasto on siirretty sellaisenaan s\u00e4hk\u00f6iseksi tietokannaksi pyrkim\u00e4tt\u00e4 yhten\u00e4ist\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n tai yksinkertaistamaan eri sanoista tallennettuja variantteja. My\u00f6s tarkekirjoitus on j\u00e4tetty ennalleen. Pit\u00e4j\u00e4nlyhenteet on kuitenkin korvattu pit\u00e4jien koko nimill\u00e4, vaikkakaan aivan kaikkia Kettusen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4mi\u00e4 lyhenteit\u00e4 ei ole kyetty tulkitsemaan.<\/p>\n

Pit\u00e4j\u00e4nlyhenteet on kuitenkin korvattu pit\u00e4jien koko nimill\u00e4, vaikkakaan aivan kaikkia Kettusen k\u00e4ytt\u00e4mi\u00e4 lyhenteit\u00e4 ei ole kyetty tulkitsemaan. Pit\u00e4jien joukossa on my\u00f6s Viluksela, joka ei ole pit\u00e4j\u00e4 vaan viittaus Soutj\u00e4rvell\u00e4 sotavuosina aineistoa ker\u00e4nneeseen Lea Vilkukselaan. H\u00e4nen laudaturty\u00f6ns\u00e4 «\u00c4\u00e4nisen Veps\u00e4n ruokataloudesta ja siihen liittyv\u00e4st\u00e4 sanastosta» (HY) valmistui 1945. <\/p>\n
