Blikkfløyte (spaltefløyte) blir ofte brukt i irsk og skotsk folkemusikk og keltisk musikk. Utseendemessig kan blikkfløyten minne om en tynn blokkfløyte i metall, men den vanlige blikkfløyta har bare seks fingerhull, som blir spilt med pekefinger, langfinger og ringfinger på hver hånd.
