These are clips from the Norwegian National Theatre's productions of Ibsen's plays. The "Brand" and "Rosmersholm" clips are from their own archive, while "A Doll's House" from 1937 has graciuosly been put at our disposal by the Norwegian Film Institute.

A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen

Tore Segelcke as Nora. The production, directed by Haldan Christensen had a run of more than ten years after its 1936 opening.
