Websites under foreign domains are also harvested if they have rights holders in Norway if they use Norwegian\/S\u00e1mi language, or if they are related to Norwegian cultural heritage. The Legal Deposit Act also defines that certain websites may be subject to legal deposit even if they require user login.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t<div class=\"t2-factbox wp-block-t2-factbox\" id=\"t2-factbox\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"t2-factbox__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"t2-factbox__blocks t2-factbox__inner-container is-layout-flow\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\n\n<p>We harvest and preserve for you!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal Deposit is made passively, meaning that the National Library collects websites without the website owner having to take any action themselves. If you own or visit websites that are outside the top-level domain .no, for example, .org, .net, .com, but have rights holders in Norway, use Norwegian or S\u00e1mi language, or deal with matters related to Norway, you can nominate this website by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:nettarkivet@nb.no\">nettarkivet@nb.no <\/a> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The National Library <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arkivverket.no\/veiledere-for-offentlig-sektor\/veileder-for-bevaring-av-nettsteder\">collaborates with the National Archives<\/a> on preserving websites owned by governmental entities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publish a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sitemaps.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sitemap<\/a>&nbsp;that includes links to everything that should be harvested from your website (e.g. databases and other hidden resources).
