The file has been sorted by main artist and band. Under each artist, the recordings are listed by date of recording. You can use these as search criteria: main artist / band, musician, album title and track title. Search for main artist or band By main artist and band is meant the musician, vocalist or band that is the main participant on a recording. A simple way of finding a main artist or band is by using the alphabetical list. Click on a letter to see the list of artists starting with that letter. The search box can be used in many ways. You can enter a full last name, first name or part of a name. You must enter at least three consecutive letters from anywhere inside the name. Search for a musician Both first and last name is required. Example: Jan Garbarek or Garbarek, Jan The search result will display the full entry for the name you searched for, with the name in bold. To locate the name within the results page in Internet Explorer or Netscape you can use Ctrl + F / Ctrl + B in Windows and Cmd + F on a Mac, then fill in the name in the dialog box. Search for album title or track title You can search for the full title or a part of it. To avoid too long a list of results you can add elements to your search. Please note: If you are looking for a title shorter than four characters you will need to enter enough spaces after the title to make it four characters long.
