(Born: 1877 - Dead: 1977 - Further information: Per (Peder) Mæhlum, born 1877, emigrated from Stange municipality, Hedmarken, in 1904. He resided in Kathryn, North Dakota until 1912 when he returned to Norway. While he and his family lived in Kathryn, he was an active amateur photographer where he documented life in the town and the surrounding areas. He lived to be over 100 years old. Mæhlum's photographs and photographic equipment are at the Norwegian Emigrant Museum in Hamar.)
